Being dumped Hayley10 13-Jul-2018
I was dumped after working for a company for 4 and a half years. Worked hard for this company very hard. Had a phone call one wednes telling me not to turn in on Fri nothing else just that asked why said just don't go in fri. This was the 20th of the month. Well by the end of the month had my papers and the last wage slip. Company's who don't even want to talk or don't even have the guts to face to face and phone to explain, just gets on your tits hate them

Domestic position Samatha65 Last updated by Catherine Keegan: 13-Nov-2017
I am searching for a domestic position either in a private residence or place of business. I am experienced, capable, able to prioritise work load. I can work as part of a team or alone and use my own initiative. I have many years experience from working in a pub to a factory or in private homes. Excellent references can be provided from previous employers. Ranging from 12 years to 3 years.

Sandra:
Have you considered trying to apply in person? I mean, going directly to places that advertise positions like the one you’re aiming at getting? Often, with these types of positions direct contact can make all the difference. In my view it makes sense that it’d be so, as there’s nothing like seeing the person, looking at them in the eye and being able to talk with them.

I have been out of work for a while now and I am now going to college now to do a cleaning course. Level 1 and Level 2 . I will have the experience to search for vacancies on your website . The more experience I gain the better chance I will find employment .

All online job search engines Effie555 Last updated by Hawkins2: 11-Oct-2017
I have been looking for work now for 4 months and have found this to be true of all of them " you fill out the details asked for is name what your seeking and were " for example cleaner in Leeds simple not they send for jobs in London Scotland any place but Leeds so what is the point of asking for the area you want " does anyone know how to fix this ? Or does it not bother other folk ?

Julie:
Hi Effie555 I don’t know what web you were using when you got those results. Personally, in general, I’ve had no problems with JobisJob. Actually I’ve just made the search you mentioned and the results I get are all correct… As a matter of fact I searched for train cleaner in York and the system warns me that there isn’t any available at present and that they’ve expanded the geographical scope to give me options

Mia:
I think there may be a confusion here, one thing is this web page, jobisjob, which collects offers from different sites and when you make a search you get the info they have collected. But when you apply to one of the offers shown you’re redirected to the job board where the job was initially posted and which is where you’ll be applying. I hope this helps.

Thanks Ladies for your input I will try again, only another two years and three months to play this game ! :-)

Hawkins2:
Also when you are applying for any job you ask for a specific area and they send jobs nowhere near where you live, it is quite stupid, either they do not read what you want or they just hope you are going to apply.

Has anyone worked with a team of cleaners where some do as they should and others don 't. It's so frustrating. If you smoke your alright.

Oh yes you get some people who want to work and others who do not care less and they make it harder for the people who want to work so they get called names

how to acquire experience? Alfie Last updated by carolannc: 09-Dec-2016
I’m 40 years old and I have never worked because I stay at home taking care of my son. I would start to work but I don’t have experience.

Which industry is easier for working without experience (hotels, office, factories...)?
Many thanks :)-
Chela:
You could try call centre work. It is payed higher than minimum wage. Also they will train you before they expect you to take calls. Then when you do they can offer you support and call coaching. What ever your background or experience. Go for it do some training with them and see how you go.

better place to work. Samanta Last updated by Ivana: 09-Aug-2016
Hello, I'm working in an office 3 hours at night. Now a friend has suggested I should become a house cleaner. If I work in 4 or 5 houses, it’s the same salary that I'm getting now.
Add comment
I'm afraid to change because I think that working in a house is a less stable than office.
Do you recommend a change?-
Ava:
You have to evaluate it yourself. As for me, working at night is impossible.
