Dba

A DBA, or database administrator, works with companies large and small to maintain their computer databases. Any business that keeps records uses a computer to store that information. It’s the job of the DBA to ensure that the database system is adequate for the task, runs properly, and is safe and secure from data loss
Besides designing, maintaining and developing databases, these people also handle the security protocols for a company’s computer system. Making sure the computer database recovery systems are being used by all employees is a daily duty for people in this position. The worst thing that can happen to a company is to lose all its data, and the DBA makes sure this never happens
Knowledge of the latest computer software systems and programming languages are essential skills for this job. A Bachelors degree in computer science is the minimum requirement, but specific training in new technology is also highly valued by employers. Salaries for this career average at around £52,000 per year.
