  • What wages can you expect? Are travelling expenses included? Robin

I’m interested in a job as drinks brand ambassador. I’ve a few years’ experience working behind the stick and I’m good with people and passionate about drinks and well skilled in mixing them to get spectacular results. I’m an accountant by profession and I’m considering taking the plunge and become a drinks brand ambassador. I’m not clear about what wages I can expect and also whether travelling expenses would be covered.

    • Frank:

Hi Robin, being a drinks brand ambassador can be a fabulous job. It’s relatively well paid on average, but it’ll always depend on the brand, geographical scope and your experience. Asides from that, your personal traits will also determine what you earn –or whether or not you get the job- Apart from the skills obvious to the job, most brands want their ambassadors to have a strong yet agreeable personality and a good people’s person, they have to be enthusiasts and have a curious mind –this gives them a very good predisposition towards continuous learning- and many more things. On average the wages are £8.5/h or 25k/year. Travel expenses often covered.

    • Tom:

Often enough you get performance based bonuses too.
