Sales Director
The position of sales director holds responsibility for leading a sales team and the planning and directing of the company’s sales activities. These executives are also responsible for meeting quarterly and annual sales targets as well as producing reports that illustrate the sales performances of their departmental teams. A Sales Director should possess an excellent knowledge of marketing principles and have strong leadership skills including the ability to motivate and supervise a team. Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as presentation skills are basic requirements for the position
The average salary for this role is £70,000 per year. The successful applicant needs to have a strong background in sales and marketing as well as considerable experienced in team management. A bachelor’s degree or higher in marketing, business administration or another related field is essential for this position. Applicants should also have strong IT skills in relevant computer applications as well as a good understanding of the company’s products or services.
