Weekend jobs Lexi Mason Last updated by Wannado: 18-Apr-2017
Hi I'm 16 years old and in college 4 days a week. I live with my parents and it's a long way from my college so I am looking for a weekend job to get me enough money to move out into some student accommodation or even a live in weekend job would be great. Any ideas ? Xx

Have you considered supermarkets or retail shops in general? It's often a good option. Sometimes, if you have a driver's license and a car/bike, home delivery can also be an option.

Private classes during the weekend Jack Last updated by Thomas: 31-May-2016
I work as a professor in a Secondary School where salary is relatively low. I want to find a part-time job during the weekend so I've been thinking of the idea of providing tutoring classes to students with educational difficulties. What other types of jobs could I apply for with my qualification?

Depends on your specialization I think... you can give private classes or look for some companies, that might need your qualification. You can also dedicate yourself to consultancy

Job seeking student Elizabeth 29-Apr-2016
I’m actually studying during the week and working as a bartender in a popular night club at weekends. But I want to go further than that and find a suitable job for few hours a day and that at the minimum salary during the week. Any advice?

What is most important to you when choosing a company to work for?

I value flexibility in terms of working hours and absences because I have two kids and I am a non skilled worker so if I have to pay somebody to take care of my kids whenever they fall sick, they will charge me more than what I earn, in which case I'd be forced to call sick.

I value Ethics, Transparency and multi-million dollar companies that don't pay their employees minimum wage, even like 10p above is fine. Minimum wage is cheap though.
