Cleaning jobs July Last updated by Jo: 23-Feb-2017 View last comments
I'm looking for a cleaning job. I'm thinking that during the Christmas break some people may be taking days off, and it may be my chance to get started. Are there job openings during the holidays do you think? what pay should I expect?

There’s no way to know, at least I can’t help you. For wages I remember checking the trends section in jobisjob, it was of use to me.

I am a part time cleaning operative.I started on 12 hours a week and am now on 16hrs,my advise would be to take on any cleaning job because it can open doors, wether to gain experience in a working environment or a chance to change career or to increase your hours of work as I have done. The company I work for have plenty of contracts in my area which may call for you to cover another operative or join another contract.

July:
Many thanks Emma, I have decided to apply to whatever openings I can find around my area. What you say is right, and I figure that even if I cant't get something permanent or for enough hours, if nothing else, it's a start.

Jo:
Have you tried searching for both cleaning and Clitheroe at the same time? one word in each box? from there, if the opening is in the web, you'll probably be able to find it with the help of the filters that appear to the left of the page.
