Do I need to have chemistry to work as a laboratory technician?

It definitely will help you but it’s not a must. It depends on the case. Sometimes you need chemistry, other times biology, physics, pharmacy, among others.

Well you need at least 4 GCSEs including science, maths and English. And sometimes you’re expected to have A Levels.
