Technical Support
A role in technical support entails providing support to a client base by resolving their technical issues via telephone or email. The position involves the configuration of technical equipment such as computers and hardware and the resolving of software glitches. It is the responsibility of the job holder to identify and resolve issues as and when they arise.
The actual duties vary widely between companies and are dependent upon the nature of the organisation. However, all positions will require that the applicant possesses a high level of customer service, prompt response times and the ability to think on their feet.
