Skills built up over the years of working that are transferable and parenting seem not to be taken serious, employers want nvq or degrees. Unfortunately not helping us older mature members of the great British work force.

Part Time holiday entitlement Beth Last updated by Jude: 03-Oct-2016
I'm considering applying for a part time evening job. It suits my situation down to a T, but I have doubts as I'm not sure what the holiday entitlement is for part time jobs.

Can anyone help please?-
Jude:
If you're working part time your holidays are generally calculated by multiplying 5.6 weeks (which is what nearly all workers have) by the numbers of days/week you work, For example if you work Monday though Tursday you can calculate it like this: 5.6 (weeks paid holiday entitlement) x 4 (days a week you work), which comes to 22.4 days of annual paid leave. I hope this helps.
