The job of customer advisors is mainly about managing client communications to provide a high quality of customer service, which increases the company’s reputation and boosts sales. Between handling enquires via incoming calls, general administrative tasks, updating customer accounts and dealing with correspondence, the advisor is in the front line of client communication.

Description

Customer Advisors assists customers and provide the necessary information to resolve their problems. They also handle collection issues, such as late or defaulting on payments. Advisors interact with clients through different mediums. This may be over the phone, via internet or face to face interaction.
Advisors work normal office hours, on five day shifts. Some may work weekend or overtime if required by their employer. This applies mostly for Customer Advisors who may work for retail outlets, malls, hotels, or supermarkets. Persons interested in working as part time employees, are likely to find this option available as well. In some companies, bonuses, or commissions are a part of the salary package.
